I have several wrinkles in my liner that I want to fix. Im getting ready to close my pool, so is it better to wail till next year or do it now before closing?
Thanks
John

If it were me, I would fix them sooner rather than later. I had several wrinkles that I let go, then found that the sun and chlorine had faded the liner in those spots, so I had line marks that were created and noticeable after the liner was stretched out.

I had two bad wrinkles in the shallow end for two years. One of them was a section that stood up about an inch above the bottom of the pool. Two weeks ago we go heavy rains and the pool filled above the bead. The water behind the liner lifted it enough I was able to smooth everything out. I have a dry well under the deep end of the pool that can valve into the main pump. I set it to pump to waste and pump the sump out. Ever since then the liner is perfect again.
John, the sooner you correct the wrinkles, the better. The liner will 'learn & remember' where the wrinkles were - thereby making it harder to fix it later on.
