    Default Water excersizes?

    Hey All,
Anyone do any excersizes in their pool?
    Whatcha do?
I was looking for some ideas. Right now I just swim in circles and walk whirlpools. I also do walking backward whirlpools, seems to work different muscles. Also turing around and walking into the whirlpool is good.
Was hoping you guys had some more inventive water workouts.

    Thanks,
    ~Hoffmans

make whirlpools for the kids to float in - it's hard work trying to run in a pool.
Another thing I do is to tow my 8 yr old around on his boogie board - he loves it!

I'm with Phillbo! The aerobic part is when you get out to go to the cooler for another.

Take a water aerobics class at another local pool; then you'll know what you can do in your pool.

Also, there's a nicely illustrated book, "Aqua Fitness: The low-impact total body fitness workout," by Mimi Rodriguez Adami (DK Publishing, copyright 2002) that has loads of exercises to do in the pool; some with and some without extra floats, some in shallow water, some in deep water. About $15.
