Well I got a 2nd quote and am quite happy. Plain white plaster is $5,750. Adding a tint to the plaster is another $750. To install a Quartz aggregate finish is $8,500.

So the second company is nearly $3,000 cheaper than my first quote.

Also quoted $900 to tear out and replace 114LF of expansion joint.

    Hope this information is useful.

I used Ultraguard. I'm quite happy with the results but its only been a little under 2 years.

My pool stays a lot cleaner and it only cost me a weekend, some beer, and a couple thousand in Epoxy.

It was a LOT of work doing the surface prep myself (Of which I spent a couple of months). I dont doubt why they charge so much.
Some people have hobbies.....I have a pool.
