14'x31' kidney 21K gal IG plaster pool; SWCG (Saline Generating System's SGS Breeze); Pentair FNS Plus 48 DE DE filter; Whisperflow 1 HP pump; 8 hours hrs; kit purchased from Ben; utility water; summer: none; winter: none; PF:5.7
We paid $3,500 in March for replaster. Plain white, 18,000 gal. Prices vary & some PB's over-estimated the size of pool, too. Good luck. Forgot to tell you that we had our rim tiles on our steps and love seats plastered over and we feel it gave the pool a slightly more modern look. The steps look like a wedding cake!

18,000 IG Gunite/Plaster, Hayward Sand Filter
Well I got a 2nd quote and am quite happy. Plain white plaster is $5,750. Adding a tint to the plaster is another $750. To install a Quartz aggregate finish is $8,500.
So the second company is nearly $3,000 cheaper than my first quote.
Also quoted $900 to tear out and replace 114LF of expansion joint.
Hope this information is useful.
I used Ultraguard. I'm quite happy with the results but its only been a little under 2 years.
My pool stays a lot cleaner and it only cost me a weekend, some beer, and a couple thousand in Epoxy.
It was a LOT of work doing the surface prep myself (Of which I spent a couple of months). I dont doubt why they charge so much.
Some people have hobbies.....I have a pool.
