    Default The Chlorine IS Fresh

Got a carboy filled today and the tanker was there unloading while I was there. I got a look at the main storage area, 3 x 9,000 litre tanks that get emptied and refilled every week during the summer. That's 7,132 gallons a week, or about hald my pool. Works for me, I know it's fresh and full strength.

So test it and be sure: Add 1ml (a std size eyedropper) into 10 liters of tap water and test it just like it was pool water. The dilution is such that the PPM you measure is the same as the percent concentration--12.5ppm means 12.5%.
