Default How to Remove Impeller off Motor

An AO Smith motor from an inground ANTHONY pool. Motor is about 1' long and has a bronze ring that marries motor to impeller housing. HOW DO I REMOVE PLASTIC IMPELLER?

There is a cap pressed into the rear housing of the motor that you'll have to remove to access the end of the motor shaft. After it's out of the way, you'll see flats on the end of the shaft so you can put a 7/16" wrench (at least that's what mine took) and keep the shaft from spinning.
