Default Such a simple way to clean bottom of pool

I was swimming in my big neighborhood community pool the other day. And I saw the pool maintenance guys using the nets to clean the bottom of the pool.

This seemed too good to be true - so I tried it at home. WOW! About 5 minutes is all it takes to use the net to skim the top of the water and then get all the dirt and leaves off the bottom.

We don't have to use the dolphin as much and the pool looks GREAT! I have never seen this done anywhere else and have never seen it mentioned so I thought I would come here and share.

Using a leaf rake (the proper name for the net you most likely saw) is standard pool maintenance! They actually work better than a skim net for the surface of the pool and are the only way to remove larger debris from the bottome without using a leaf eater (powered by a garden hose).
