Default Other uses for 12% chlorine.

Works great to clean up plastic cat litter boxes. After a while they get scratches on the bottom and a bit smelly. I put in some water a good dose of 12% chlorine and let it sit for a bit with spectacular results. I've down it with the usual 5.25% bleach but the 12% really kicked but! Totally clean and smell fine.

I also use it sprayed on the deck to strip off any mildew. Also used in diluted amounts as a vinyl siding cleaner.

I use it weekly in the bathroom for cleaning the shower and the toilet. There is a pinkish biofilm in the NE that loves bathtubs and I always use bleach in the toilet, let it sit for 10 min, give a good scrub... and it sparkles again!

We use it in the chlorine injector to sanitize our well water which is sulphurous and stinks bad. A diluted chlorine solution is pumped into the line to the holding tank and water drawn from the holding tank is filtered through a carbon filter to remove the chlorine.

We had been using Clorox but the pool store carboys are way cheaper in the long run and we've switched to that.

We also use it to clean showers and tubs. I put some in a spray bottle and spray down the shower walls. Oh yes, I do know that pink film here in the ever humid NE. Mold on walls, too, gets a spray of strong chlorine.

And I put it in the tank of the pressure washer when I hose out the dog kennels. A good rinse with fresh water and they're good to go.
