    Hmm, took the pump apart (separated motor from pump housing), everything appeared to be in order. I assembled it back together and now it works......what's up with that???

    First thought would be when it got hot something opened up and it was sucking air and could not sustain prime. All it takes is a hairline crack or opening to let enough air in to mess things up. Other that that....who knows.
