I'm not in the pool business or anything like that but I have about a 1975 vintage Foxxx IG oval. The Foxxx pools have a cross braced steel beam structure around the perimeter of the steel walls. The pool can be self standing without any fill. This is why the concrete decking that is not next to the pool is settling. The concrete perimeter decking is poured over the top of the cross-braces and is an integral part of the pool. I have the same settling problem only to a lesser extent. You should be able to jackhammer the settled decking and pour new. A few years ago I was able to get under my wooden walkway and examine some of the steel braces and they looked quite sound and it is always damp there. The part of the back of the steel wall I could see looked fine too. Not sure what's behind the liner though but it feels sound except for some rough rust spots near the skimmer. When liner replacement is due I'll make decisions then about what to do once I expose and inspect the walls and bottom. All in all I'm amazed how well this thing has held up after those many years.
Hope this makes you feel better.

    Poconos,
Thanks for the reply. Your description of your construction sounds similar to mine. I am hoping they are independent so doing any type of new decking will be less complicated. Looking for a few vendors that do vinyl and deck work to get an estimate.
    Happy Swimming,
    Scott
