Algae in cleaner flex tubes.
I was pulling my cleaner out of the pool yesterday and notice some green algae inside the flex tube that connects to the suction line in the wall. I don't have algae anywhere else so I'm assuming it is growing in the sections that float on the water during the day due to the water being extremely warm in those sections. does this sound like a possible cause? Does anyone know of a place that sells big pipe cleaner brushes I could use to clean the tubes out with ?
I have not run a full test yet this week but plan to tomorrow so I'll have some numbers to post. I also plan to do the annual cleaning of my DE filter next weekend. I wonder if I will find algae in the filter as well ?
