MJS, that sounds fine. I've read your other posts from today but can't give any help/ info on them.
It sounds like you have a good grasp of what you're doing, if any 'hiccoughs' happen, I'll help as I can.![]()
Hooking up a waterway sand filter to my Pentair pump. In order to make things work I am running pvc from the sand filter to the pentair hose. Basically a threaded 1 1/2 hooked into the filter. Then to a slip 90 degree to a small section of pvc to 1 1/2 threaded/slip to my pentair hose and to the pump. Seems like a few pieces for a short distance, but I had to overcome the water way connection, another waterway port that I had to go around and a short pentair hose. I would guess the pentair sand filters are much lower to the ground.
Either way...will this work ok? I have just cemented the needed pieces and will hopefully hook up later tonight.
Only other issue is watching my water level :-). We are getting hit extremely hard (very very rare) in the rain department, here in North Texas, this month. I have never seen it like this. Basically a mud pit where I had killed my grass in the pool area. Sinking down above my ankle and more rain is on the way.
