Whatever depth you lost water to over the winter is approximately the height where you want to start looking - from that point to 2" down - concentrate around the area of your stairs because they see the most use and sometimes, drop in steps (if you have them) can do damage when you remove or install them without you knowing it.

holes tend to look like dark spots - or possibly like a sliver of finger nail stuck to the liner

I have sand cove. I have looked and looked around for any signs of a leak, but still can not find it. I will search the sight for other suggestions and see if that helps.

    Thanks

I spent two weeks last year looking on and off for a leak. I had ants chew a series of small pin holes in the cove. I purchased a good pair of gogles and filled an old pair of shorts with rocks to make it easier to stay on the bottom. I use plain Kool Aid powder the kind you add suger to and mixed it really strong into a little squeeze bottle. Persistance pays off when you see any thing that looks strange just squirt and if it gets sucked out.

    Good Luck,
    jen

    Sand.

I would have never found my leaks, there was too many small, very small holes around the cove. Like i said, i searched all last season for the leak.
