    Default When to shock?

Is it necessary to shock once a week regardless? I don't shock my pool that often. Maybe after about 5-10 adults after a party. My chlorine stays at a good level. Need advice?? Help

    Default Re: When to shock?

We never shock unless there is a need to, like after heavy swimmer load or other reasons organics could get into the water (bug migration, heavy tree pollen drop) Regular maintenance and upkeep will help prevent the need to shock except in those odd situations. Simply keep your levels where they need to be and your good to go.
