Default hole in sand filter tank

There's a small hole in my sand filter tank and it's spraying water. Looks like a couple of pin holes not a lot of water loss. Can I fix this? Suggestions on how to do this if possible. If not what do you guys recommend I replace it with. Another of the same or is there a better way.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Pool epoxy, from the inside. It sets up underwater, and the pressure from the inside will help it seal.

Or get a plastic welder and weld it with multiple layers.

jb weld! i used some on the side of the autopilot manifold i burnt through with a soldering iron (long story) and used jb weld..no water leaks, stands up to the pressure, stuck fine to the pvc.

Thanks guys...I may give JB Weld a try on the outside of the tank. I really don't want to mess with going inside the tank. I'll sand it good and give it a try.

    Thanks for the reply........Jay

Just out of curiousity... what kind of tank is this?

I have a small hole (crack) on the inside of my old filter but I may patch it and hold onto the tank.

Let me know how the repair turns out.

    Thanks.

40'x28' I/G L-shaped, vinyl liner pool, with an estimated 40,000 gallons of water.
Been using BBB for over a year! Excellent results!

    Thank goodness!
Please tell me the secret on getting a new filter. I attempted but they wouldn't budge. It still frustrates me because there is no reason it should have cracked.
If possible I'd like to get some details from you so I can still attempt to get the tank replaced.

    Thanks!
