Default How to adjust CYA down

From a post I made earlier a comment was made about my CYA being high, currently it is 151.

I realize I need to keep a high ppm of chlorine in the pool to keep it free of algae, but I am concerned about what this will do to one of my children's sensitive skin.

My question, is partial draining and refilling the only way to lower the CYA? or is there another way? We are in a drought at the moment and the city is imposing a 200% water fine if you use more than your alloted amount in a month.

    Thanks in advance

Any idea how much we are talking about? 15,000 gallon above ground. 10%, 25%, 50%

    Thx

There is another way. You don't want to know it.

But trust me, draining and refilling is FAR easier and cleaner, not to mention faster.
