Default Dolphin Power Supply unit very hot

Is that normal? I don't remember if it was like that last year. The bottom of the unit gets so hot after only an hour one could burn themselves on it. Normal or ready to croak?

As I remember, the heat sinks are at the bottom of the PS, so one would expect them to get very warm. If they burn you, though, contact the manufacturer's rep. That sounds like a resistor or something else has failed and is letting too much current flow to the power transistors.
It may be normal but it may be a power supply (for the components in the base) problem. The unit is called the power supply but should be called the control unit as that's where the brains and the remote antenna are.
