Don't think it is allowed, but if it is I have a Polaris 380 with booster pump I would be willing to part with in NJ.
First of all, if this post is inappropriate, I would ask the moderators to delete it. I browsed through the FAQ and couldn't find anything prohibiting it, but, regardless, please moderate as necessary.
If anyone would like to buy a 95+% new one of these, please PM me:
URL REMOVED BY MODERATOR! SALES NOT ALLOWED ON POOLFORUM.COM.
I'll sell it for about half of what I paid for it.
I don't believe it's a bad cleaner, it just won't work in my situation.
If you'd like to hear the sad story behind why it won't work in my situation, I'll be happy to tell you.
Thanks ever so much.

Too bad... I just bought a new one of these. Did you try eBay? shame you have to lose 1/2 your investment.
Why will it not work for your situation? I spoke to customer support at length and found out that the cleaner needs 25~30 gallons/minute. They actually sent me a fitting+hose at no charge so I could measure the flow with a 5 gal bucket. I hooked it up to my dedicated cleaner return and had well over 30 gal/min when the flow from the filter is irected 1/2 to the cleaner return and 1/2 to the regular returns.
Is your situation that you don't have enough flow?

We tossed around a couple of years ago the idea of having a section of the forum for this very thing -- people posting pool items they were interested in selling. But, Ben did not want to do it. So, even though he isn't around for at least the time being, we will still go ahead and respect his decision regarding this matter. Thus, I'll go ahead and lock this thread.
Thanks for being a part of our forum!

WaterMom is absolutely correct. Sales are prohibited here on PoolForum.com. Because, no matter how many caveats you have, if someone's not happy, they will blame PoolForum.com.
I'm going to delete the sale information right now, but leave the thread up.
