    Default Had alge now cloudy

    I shock the green pool and got rid of the alge, Now the pool is very cloudy and I cant get it clear

    What can I do

    A little more info please.

    -How long did you shock?
    -How high was the Cl level you shocked to? You have a high CYA so your Cl would need to be higher. See 'Ben's Best Guess' chart for more info.
    -Get your Cl level back up to around 10 (due to your high CYA) and get a combined chlorine and post it.
    -Clearing typically means just running the filter 24/7 for a couple days (if clearing dead algae is your only problem).

    Shocked for 2 days, I have had the pump runnign for 2 days after with no change in the cloudiness

    Usually takes longer than two days to clear algae. With CYA at 100ppm and FC at 1ppm, you're going to have algae again. You need to run your chlorine quite a bit higher than that.
