Default Leaving for a long weekend

I am leaving earyly Thursday morning and wont be back until late Sunday. What is the best way to leave the pool? Do I get the Chlorine levels nice and high and put the solar cover on? Then continue letting my pump turn on each day?

Is there any other good solution? The last time I left I came home to green water.

    Thanks,
    Frank
