my calcium is 90. Can I use the cal hypo shock?
Sure! If your Cal was in the high 300's or the mid 400's I'd say no, but 90? Use it and save money!
BTW, they may call it "shock" but it's not. It's simply Cal-Hypo packed in pre-measured bags.
"Shock" is a verb, something you do to your pool. It's not a noun, it's not something you put in it.
But the pool chem industry likes to bend the language to make it sound like you are buying more (and paying more) than you actually are.

Thanks for the info on the cal hypo.
I'll put it in Sunday night.
We were clear for a few days, now we our water is a little cloudy. So shocking may help some.
