I don't remember seeing anyone say that there was such a thing. Why aren't you considering simply using bleach?
Why BBB? Because money can't buy happiness, but saving it sure can!
There is a cal hypo product in a different form that does not have cya but its not used the same way as the trichlor pucks and you CANNOT mix trichlor with cal hypo - yikes.
If I am going on vacation for a longer time without someone to babysit the pool, I will clean well, superchlorinate/shock, cover and set my pump timer to run longer than usual. I have never had issues.
Beats driving to the lake!

I use bleach while at home, but Im going on vacation and have no one that can care for the pool. I want to put some tablets in my chlorinator so I can atleast have some chlorine level while away.I will leave th pump on low 24/7 while gone. My current cya is 70 and I dont want to raise it. I thought there was a form of non stablized chlorine that came in tablet form.
Thanks
John
Yep, nothing out there. How long will you be gone? Maybe just shock, cover and run the pump. Hope for the best if you can't get someone to come over. If its short term, my guess is the pool won't suffer much except lower chem levels when you return. Keeping debris out of the pool with the cover on will help.
