    Question Tile over tile

Can I put new tile over the old one? If is possible what will be the bonding agent? By the way thank you very much for the replies to deck painting question, very helpful.
    Thanks

I think that would be a Bad Idea. First, it's going to stick WAY out. Second, are you really sure the old stuff is really bonded well? If the base tile comes off, so will your new tile.

I just finished a job at an all-tile pool. They re-tiled the entire surface over the old tile. I believe they just used the regular grout. Doing it that way definitly saved them a whole lot of time in preparation.

    Denfel,

(I love doing this) The definitive, absolute answer is maybe. I assume you are speaking of ceramic tile, outdoors, on your pool deck.

Please supply a lot more info. Tell us why you want to do that. Tell us the condition of the old tile. Tell us what's underneath the old tile. Give me a lot more details and I can guide you in the right direction.
