    Question oh no! WRINKLES

We just took the winter cover off the inground pool and I guess when the PS closed up last year, they drained too much water

There was maybe 3 inches of water in the shallow end.
some of the rubber edging around the liner had come undone... that was easily fixable.

The problem is that the liner has wrinkled (Help!!!!)
I now have three very large wrinkles, that join up in what looks like a large peace-sign...
what do I do to get rid of these?

I have already starting refilling the pool ( it's now deep enough that I was able to put the dolphin in to get a jump on spring-clean up)

Please.. any suggestions for fixing wrinkles in an inground pool?
( maybe filling it will push the wrinkles back out??? she askes hopefully..lol )

( I apologise if this is in the wrong topic)

Are you sure you don't have a leak? Even tho pool stores don't understand about the chemicals we use here, I would be surprised that one would lower your water that far.

If it were me, I'd fill a few inches of water then stop and mark where it's at and see if it goes down. Because if you DO have a leak, it'll be easy for you to fix yourself as long as you can find it.

Then if it's not a leak, someone with wrinkle experience can give you help.
Why BBB? Because money can't buy happiness, but saving it sure can!

Raven (I love you like a sister!,, your posts and pm's last year are greatly appreciatewd)
Stop filling the pool, you need to drain it down to ~the wrinkles (you can leave ~1" of water over them and still be able to work them out). It will help to have a warm day as the liner will be more pliable. Then get a strong vacuume behind the liner and start refilling.

(My wife is crying her eyes out downstairs - her sisters dog had to be put down today) - I gotta go

    Hi waste
    thanks for the sweet words

well, by the time I got that reply, it was way too late...
guess I'm stuck with the wrinkles for now
hopefully it won't damage the liner too much
I can live with it anyway and it doesn't seem to bother the dolphin cleaner any

I'm a bit POed at the pool store for this closing
besides wrinkles, I also seem to have clogged pipes
I can not get the pump to prime. I read in another thread to try to blow out the line, but I don't really have any eqipment to do that with... ( garden hose didn't work)
I think the PS should come and fix it.

sorry to hear about your s-i-l's dog

hope your's is thriving with love ... give her a treat for me :-)
