The stuf while great on paper does not work in the real work, safe your $10. Just use your solar cover.
Anyone tried the Ecosavr from Flexible Solutions yet? Apparently it forms a chemical barrier on the pool surface and reduces evaporation and heat loss by 40%. It comes in a plastic fish you leave in the pool and change out every 4 weeks. It's only 10 bucks so not a big financial risk but I, being a true BBB practitioner, am Leary...

Update: Just checked the site and according to the MSDS, it's just Isopropyl Alcohol. Hmm...

Thanks,
I just read the "test" you can perform to prove it works. The funny thing is they tell you to use water that is 110 degrees. Well sure, the evap rate is going to be high at that temp, AND your only looking at a 5-6 degree difference. Bring that down to 70-80 degree range and your not looking at much.
