Chlorine daily with the OTO test. pH test and chlorine with the FAS-DPD on the weekend. TA a few times a season, and CYA as needed if I'm raising it. That's normal. If I'm having problems, I may do the weekend tests more often.
How often do you test your pool water?
I test chlorine 1-2 times a week and PH/TA once every other week.
Just curious what others out there do.

I guess I may be just anal about it but We test Chlorine (25ml FAS-DPD) and pH AT LEAST daily. Sometimes more often. As for the other tests, every other day.
I admit, I am intentionally keeping the CYA below the normal range (25 ppm) and I am running a bleach injection system that I am still learning.
Water is sparkling and smells good (something you have to learn).
I test Chlorine (FAS-DPD) - daily or more, pH - daily, Alkalinity - daily, Calcium - weekly, CYA - Never (enclosed pool, I have none), Temperature - daily, pump PSI - daily.
I may test some of the things more than needed, but I don't mind the few minutes it takes to do a quick check. My water is also sparkling with no 'pool' smell.

Like fcfrey, I do a lot of testing...pH, FC, and CC daily...TA at least weekly and after adjustments...CH and CYA weekly......salt every month or so as needed.
I'm just coming up on our one year anniversary of having a pool, so I'm now more familiar with how my pool is reacting to chemicals, temperature, and the various influx of debris - all due to consistent, regular testing for this first year.
I expect that my daily testing may "slack off"to testing 2-3x/week now that I'm more familiar with what my pool needs.
