Question have numbers ready for cya?

Ok here we go have 2-bottles of cya 1.75 lbs each. have some floating pucks and here are my numbers
    fc-0
    cc-0.5
    alk-80
    ph-7.2
    cya-0

with the cc at 0.5 should i get this to 0 before adding cya or start the cya and and chlorine also. by the way baq to chlorine conversion almost done. water is like mid summer very clear. Im going to mix one bottle in water pour in skimmer, the other Im going to put it in a sock and put in skimmer basket or hang over the side of the pool , does this all sound ok also wait for a week before testing cya? I think Im getting this process,

You can go ahead and add the CYA, but if you still have CC, your chlorine should not be zero. (Your chlorine should NEVER be 0). Take it back up to shock level, and hold it there until the chlorine level holds overnight. IN the meantime, your CYA can be dissolving.
