Default Spilled CYA in pool-will it harm liner?

    Hello All,

We have a new 33' round above ground.
It is almost full of water.
A few days ago I used my old method of applying CYA which is inside panty hose w/ a puck floater to keep it buoyant.
    See picture here:http://www.poolforum.com/pf2/showthread.php?t=3254

Well to make a long story short- the panyhose ripped and out poured about 2 cups of CYA granules. The granules are sitting on the vinyl liner floor.
Will this cause harm to the liner?
I think I will switch to PatL34 's method of CYA delivery.

    Thank You!
