    Default Pump leak

Hello all! I just opened my pool up yesterday (yay ) and I noticed something about my pump. When it is turned off it leaks around the rim, but when it is turned on it doesn't. I have cleaned and oiled the o-ring and the rim and it is still doing it. It seems like it is just not sealing all the way around. Any suggestions?

Tighten it or get a new O-ring. That's normally the way it acts when it isn't sealed.

The o-ring looks to be in good condition so how do you tighten it?

If you can't put the pump basket lid on tight enough to keep it from leaking, you need a new O-ring. The O-ring needs to be greased on both sides with O-ring grease to allow it to stay in position while the lid is tightened.
