    Default maintaining heat in pool

I have a question- hypothetical idea on trying to conserve the heat in our AG pool. Would insulating around it help? Insulation covered by deck material (the deck goes around the pool.) We live in Illinois and keep our solar cover on unless we are trying to get rid of cc's.

I rarely post because I am not an expert by any means. I have learned tons from this site and would pay to be a member.

    Thanks for your time

I don't think it would hurt. However, you probably want insulation that is moisture-permiable, so it doesn't build up and rot the walls.

I have to admit that we have thought of that as well. Wondering how a person would go about that and have it look decent while not allowing moisture to get in there?
    Beats driving to the lake!
