    Default CYA remover?

Ran into this product while surfing the web, anyone know more about this? 1 gallon supposedly removes 30-50ppm of CYA in a 10k gallon pool:

It's probably melamine. You know, the stuff in the recent pet food scandal from Chinese processing plants. Killed some cats and dogs here, people's pets.

Seems very expensive and who knows what the heck is in it. Don't know about you but I don't like to add mystery chemicals to my pool. What do you pay for water? This stuff costs $50, if you pay 1 cent a gallon for the same money you could dump 5,000 gallons and refill with no worry about what you are adding to the pool. Plus, you know draining will definitely remove CYA.
