I recently purchased a bottle of taylor #2 reagent for the dpd test. When I used it I got no results. No matter how many drops I put in I get no color change. Any ideas as to what is going on? It feels like they sent me a bottle of water for $7.00! Also, I really wanted to purchase it from pool solutions but it tells me the the website has concluded testing phase and awaits activation. Is there something I am doing wrong? Thanks for all your help. Past and present. I have successfully begun my 2nd year with this method and couldn't be happier with the results. You guys are awesome!!!!

Did you purchase a Taylor R-0002 as your #2 for your test?? If you're using the PoolSolutions PS-234 kit, the replacement (#2) reagent for the FAS-DPD test is R-0871.
