I opened the pool this year by myself and I have a drain plug at the bottom of a skimmer that I can not open. The skimmer is narrow (around 6" in diameter) and about 18 inches deep. The plug is at the bottom and is so tight that I can not open by hand. No tools work as they are too long to get leverage. The plug has a square knob on top about 1 1/16" wide for removal. ANyone aware of a special tool that they make to remove these plugs or do I need to fabricate something myself?

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks
John
