    Default Pool Pilot Info

I am getting ready to install a pool pilot (has not been delivered yet). I would like to know if it comes with a salt tester or do I need to pick up one on my on?

The Pool Pilot Digital does not come with salt strips but the Soft Touch does. I would recommend that you take a water sample before adding the salt, add the amount recommended, wait a day for the salt to dissolve and circulate then have the water retested. THEN, if the salt display is different from the test result, calibrate the Digital to match the test result.

The salt reading should be accurate but it really pays to make sure by doing these tests from the beginning. Once verified (or calibrated), the salt reading should remain accurate from then on.
