    If water is coming out of the leak then air cannot be getting in so that is not your source of air bubbles. Also, if the leak is on the pressure side, which is what you imply, silicone seal won't hold.

    Thanks, I will try and unscrew it and take a look at the O'ring.

    I'll keep my eyes open for another leak on the suction side of things.

    I really appreciate all the help that I have received here.
