From what I have read (no direct experience) they are slightly better than nothing, but only very slightly. You will do yourself well sticking with a real solar cover.
Happy Spring (finally) everyone! I need a new solar cover for our 24' round pool and notice a product called "turbo fish" and another called "solar pill" that replace a solar blanket. Sounds attractive, but do they work? It is a pain to fool with the solar cover especially early in the season. Thanks in advance for the advice.

Thanks for the quick response, I must admit it sounded too good to be true!
Tried it some years back when it was new. Don't waste your money.
Beats driving to the lake!
