Default So...I forgot how to open! Help

    DUH

As I was putting down mulch today I looked under the cover to see if it was still clear like a week ago. NO DICE. It was green water. We have had 4 nice days after a bad cool snap so I thought I was safe.

I followed the winter closing instructions to a T. I just forgot how to open, in particular with the chemicals. With the apparent algae bloom what am I up against? What steps should I take?

    Thanks as always!!

Top your pool off, get your pump and filter running and then maintain your chlorine at shock level (based on your cya reading). Test it three times a day if you can, and each time add enough bleach to bring it back to shock level. Also, run your pump 24/7 while you are trying to clear your pool. Also test your ph to make sure it is somewhere between 7.2-7.8 with 7.4-7.6 being ideal.
