A Roomba for your pool

iRobot is announcing a pair of pool cleaners made by Aqua Products, makers of the Aquabot. Seems like the entry of a company like this might tend to drive prices down.

I saw that today too. Looks like a Dolphin, and is made in Israel. I wonder it they simply have a license agreement with Dolphin. If so, it won't drive price down much

It's made by the maker of the Aquabot, but there is some relationship between those companies. It looks a lot like the cleaner Aquabot markets overseas. I'd expect iRobot to be a little more aggressive marketing the cleaner, which might put downward pressure on prices.

If it is anything like their original product it is garbage. I bought one and returned it the next week.
