SWG & Large Liner Pool

Just my experience: I live in the North East, Westchester, NY and my pool is 28’x52’x4’avrg. about 44k gals. I have a Pool Pilot Digital with the SC 60 cell. I run my pump 10hrs per day with the power level at 3 and 50% with the temp around 76 deg. This is my normal temp. as I have no heater, but that is another story. I think because the pool is partially shaded, I am able to maintain CL level over 2.5 ppm with a CYA level of less than 25 ppm. Pool Pilot Digital with the SC 60 cell is a great system, once the water is balanced in the spring the only thing I need to do is empty the skimmer baskets, clean the Aquabot bag, and put a few glugs of muriatic acid in every few days to maintain PH. As for salt I use the 80lb. Blue bag water softener salt and just add it directly into the my three skimmers, when needed. For CYA, I just pour a 5lb bucket in to the leaf rake and put in front of the deep end return jet. Hope this helps.
