Walked around the still closed pool today and saw my first water boatman of the year... let the war begin!!!

Get some goggles and a pair of tweezers
I forgot all about them little bugs...I'm sure I'll be seeing them soon.

BEWARE - they bite!!! I got bit twice today by a large, thumbnail sized one that swam out from under my steps right at me. It bit me hard, twice before I could grab it off and pinch it death. Saw another one and figured the war was on. Bleached the hell out of my steps after that. I have never been bitten before in all these years. Do we have mutated monsters growing in our 92F salt pool?
