He did try to sell me on the 1.5 HP pump, which was only an extra $20... luckily I was reading here last night about pumps being oversized, and restrained myself... they only offer a 1 and 1.5 HP pump, so I didn't have to make a decision about the 3/4HP.

Any thoughts on the reliability of waterway brand? I was thinking of upgrading to Hayward, but it was a fairly big jump...
