    Default low Alkalinity

Long time since I visited or posted.

Question: Just got back from Leslie's They suggest changing my pool water due to Alk being 40. here are my numbers:

    FAC 3.
    TAC 3.
    PH 7.6
    TA 40
    CYA 60
    salt 3500

Pool is 3 years old, 7500gal gunite

I used the bleach calc. and I am going to add 5.6 lbs baking soda to raise Alk, do I need to drain?

    Thanks
