Joyce, relax, all will be fine! It sounds like you have copper in the fill water, can you confirm or deny? If it's copper, or another metal, a sequestering agent will help you - I'm not the best re: metals but the 'stains and metals' area can provide some more info, I'll help as I can.
You will want to bring the CA up to ~250, but pb seems to have that in hand (BTW- you're very lucky to have a pb who is willing to do as you ask without giving you a lot of 'hastle' about the BBB and cya!!!!)

Keep adding the bleach, you don't want to have an algae problem in a freshly refinnished pool. As you have no CC, you can keep the additions low for now, but please look into the copper/ metal thing and add a sequestering agent if it exists, before taking the cl too high. I'm hoping that some of the stain experts will add to this today, as it would "SUCK" to have new plaster stained!
