    Default Cleaning calcium from filters

My pool company just acid washed my pool walls while the water was still in the pool to remove some odd stripes from the marcite. My cartridge filters now have white scale stuck to them. I was wondering if a soak in dishwashing detergent would be enough to remove the deposits that I believe to be calcium from the pool walls. Washing with a garden hose isn't enough.

If you can't get if off with the hose, you can try soaking them with a bit of acid. 1:5 ratio should do it but you can go stronger if needed.
