Having been through 2 hurricanes, I can strongly recommend the pentair leafeater. It is sold by Ben at this site, but I am sure you could find other suppliers if you prefer. It connects to a garden hose, and collects large amounts of leaves in a mesh bag. Ben's tip on putting tennis balls in the bag to increase capacity works great.
