    Default Pool Pilot Start Up

Pool Pilot is installed and pump is running. All seems ok. I will not be adding salt until next week and do not have the cell powered. Can I attach the Tri-sensor cord so I can monitor flow and water temperature?

Sure. Just turn the output down to 0% so that the cell doesn't get energized.

Temps here are getting ready to head south so I will not be benefiting from my SWG until March or so. Should I go ahead and dissolve my salt now or wait?

If you're not going to be using your pool and wish to add chlorine by hand until March, leave it off. However, if you want to dissolve the salt now and allow the temperature compensation maintain the minimal chlorine needed, start it up and let it maintain it for you over the winter.

No harm done by letting it run now. Just less work for you.
