.5 cc after closing

I cleaned my pool as best I could and covered it. I measured the chemicals today, as I've read to keep an eye on the readings and I was suprised by a .5 cc reading. I haven't had a cc reading for months. Is this normal and can it wait till spring or will I end up with a mess. Temps here are still getting into 70's so it is'nt freezing and I could uncover it and shock it , although it is a huge pool. 25,000 gallon. Thanks for any help. I sure appreciate this forum. Sharon

What is your cya reading? I wouldn't worry about a CC reading of 0 as long as your chlorine reading is adequate for your cya level.
