    Default solar cover

Bought a blue solar cover today and scissor cut it so that it fits my 20X36 free form in-ground. I had to cut a small section out for the waterfall that drops from my attached spa. As this is my first time with a cover, a few questions if anyone could help:

    1) Can I keep it covered for a week at a time?
    2) Can I keep the pump and polaris sweeper running while covered?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Yes to both. Remember that a solar cover does pose safety issues, and will cut down on your skimmer's ability to clear floating critters and debris before it sinks.
