I have the Polaris 380, and it is perfectly capable of handling oak leaves and acorns. I have a koi pond next to my pool, and occasionally the kids or the dog will kick pieces of the pea gravel into the pool, and the Polaris gets those, too. Might have to clean the bag out a couple of times daily depending on how many leaves, but it will handle the job.
