    Default Backfill around sunken AG

Any advice on what to use to backfill around our AG. It sits 2' out of the ground. The original earth is rocky, so that is obviously out. We have a 18" gap between the pool and the earth wall.

I would use clay or sand. Stone would just leave a place for water to sit. If you can get some filter fabric then you could wrap that around the pool and backfill with the original dirt. Is the void full depth?

The pool is a 54" with 24" above ground. The void is net to the bottom of the pool, equal dimensions all the way around.

What do you mean the void is net to the bottom of the pool? Are you trying to trick me?
